Description
A sentimental vintage 14K yellow gold pendant by Tiffany & Co. The center features a “Tree of Life” design garnished with gemstone flowers. The tree is enclosed in a open twist border, in turn surrounded by a broad pleated border. Starting with the diamond in the center and spiraling outward in a clockwise direction, the first letters of each gemstone’s name—Diamond, Emerald, Amethyst, Ruby, Emerald, Sapphire and Topaz—spell “DEAREST.” The concept of the tree of life comes from ancient legends and myths. It is said that the tree of life is a symbol of unity; that all life on earth is connected: though we may branch out in various directions, each of us is apart of something bigger. This pendant would make a meaningful gift for any loved one.
