One base light disperses the light throughout. Takes a 60 to a 120 watt light bulb. Can't decide? Use a dimmer instead to control the amount of sparkle. We recommend using an LED light because it helps preserve the antique fixtures better and longer. Antique chandeliers might have to be adapted to modern houses. This chandelier requires a canopy and chain which is not included. The bow at the top is not made to go flush and cover a ceiling box and is part of the fixture. Please check with your electrician or contractor for additional specifics on installing antique chandeliers. The socket works and the chandelier is rewired to meet US electrical standards. It has some minor scratches but is not missing any parts or has repairs.
