Description

This pair of Art Deco console tables have frosted glass surfaces that light up to emphasize a spot or a favorite display. The curved chrome spaghetti legs, typical of the period, create a simple, yet elegant design. The table’s edge, as well as the base, are faux Macassar wood. The vertical stripes of the faux Macassar wood contrast beautifully with the shiny chrome detailing. The magic happens when the tops light up. The top has a frosted glass panel with rectangular etched banding that catches and reflects the light beautifully. The chrome details and glossy veneer are also elements that are reminiscent of the Art Deco period. Overall, this is a spectacular pair of console tables that are sure to spark admiration.

One of the table's mirrored corners is chipped (see image). There is subtle cracking in the veneer of the faux Macassar wood base (see image). The chrome detailing around the top is only on three sides, having an unfinished back to allow it to fit snugly against a wall. There's some light scratching on the chrome detailing due to normal wear. To light the tabletops, both tables have been rewired to meet US electrical standards and require two lamp instant electronic ballast 50/60 HZ light bulbs (see image). They have a plug along with a switch to the underside of the table.

The only part that comes off each table is the glass top. Each weighs 150 lbs.
