Description

This early 18th century cellarette evokes images of ferocious sea waves encircling each other by way of the unique swirling pattern of the vibrant crotch mahogany veneered top. The body still has the original tin lining to keep beverages cool. It fits into a rectangular base with casters to make for easy movement in a room. A mahogany drinks holder was fitted inside with a wooden lining, but is detachable, in case you choose to store anything other than drinks.

Condition

There are some cracks on the veneer on the lid of the cellarette and slight minor scratches through out the cellarette. Inside the cellar the wooden lining that holds the wine bottles has been repaired since parts of the wood had separation. The cellar does not come with a key. The cellar opens and closes smoothly. Both handles are in good condition as well.
