Description
This exquisite lantern showcases the elegance of the French Louis XV style, crafted from nickel on bronze. Although the exact date of production is unknown, it is believed to have been commissioned after a period lantern, as it is entirely hand-made during a time when lighting was already being manufactured.
Featuring excellent proportions, this lantern is made of cast bronze with neoclassical architectural details and adorned with hand-cut and etched curved glass panels. It makes a grand statement in a hallway or entryway with tall ceilings.
