Circa 1920 French Louis XV Style Gilt Bronze and Brass and Crystal Chandelier

This chandelier has been rewired to meet US electrical standards and takes 6 candelabra light bulbs. Each light bulb can use up to a maximum of 60 watts. We recommend using LED lights because they help preserve antique fixtures longer. Antique fixtures must be adapted to modern homes. This fixture requires a canopy and chain that is not included to hang from the ceiling. Please check with your electrician or contractor for additional specifics on installing antique lighting. All the crystals are complete, none are missing, broken or chipped. All the pieces to this chandelier are original. The main body is gilt bronze, but the additional parts are gilt brass. These bronze and brass parts are complete and have no repairs. The gilt is uniform and looks as if pieces are joined together before gilding and surface finishing, which is a sign of quality work. The chandelier has light scratches due to the antiqueness, but overall, in good condition.
