This pair of flush mounts uses four base light bulbs each. Each light bulb can use up to a max of 60 watts. We recommend using LED lights because it helps preserve the antique fixtures better and longer. Antique chandeliers might have to be adapted to modern houses. This fixture can be mounted to the ceiling. Please check with your electrician or contractor for additional specifics on installing antique chandeliers. All sockets work and the chandelier has been rewired to meet US electrical standards. There are light scratches on the bronze due to its antiqueness. There might be some deeper veins in the domes, which is natural due to its mineral composition and may be confused for a crack. The alabaster is hand carved so there might be a slight difference in the dome. There is a circular line in one of the domes which were from when it was polished. There are some small stains on the bronze created from moisture over time. There is also a small deep scratch that is on one of the domes of the alabaster that is about 1.5 inches long that can be seen.
