Having the original 'C' clasp, the hinge and pin are in good working order. The porcelain portrait has a cork backing to protect the fragile nature of porcelain. There are spots with patina on the back of the brooch, although these will not be seen when it is being worn. Throughout, there are slight scratches from age. There is a small chip on the porcelain. We will be happy to provide additional closeup images upon request.
