Description
Pair of Late 19th Century French Louis XVI Style Side Chairs. Distressed white wood carvings featuring heavily carved floral crowns and lovely reeded turned legs on turnip feet. These chairs would add a touch of ‘shabby chic’ to any room. Each chair weighs approximately 15 lbs.
The frames of both chairs require tightening to make them structurally sound and able to take long-term daily use. Tightening of the frame is usually done at the same time they are being reupholstered. Some cracks and scratches to the wood from use and age are common and add to the battered look.
