Description
Late 19th Century English Olive wood Sewing Spool Box. Spool boxes were used for storing one’s sewing supplies. This particular spool box features hand-painted images of a spool, a pair of scissors, needles, a seam ripper, and chalk. All the items that would most likely be found inside. The sides of the box also have hand-drawn detail as well, meant to resemble a book.
