Description

This Circa 1940 German Art Deco chrome chandelier comes with alabaster shades in a warm, marbled mix of yellow and beige tones, with veining. The conical trumpet alabaster shades have nice scalloped edges that blend with the dynamic curves on the arms. When lit, the shades diffuse the light into an amber glow that offsets the sleek shine of the chrome and allows the natural patterns of the alabaster to be prominently displayed. The design blends well in any contemporary setting.

Dimensions without ceiling cover and chain: H=30 in. W=28 in. D=28 in. 30 lbs.

This chandelier is rewired to meet US electrical standards. It takes three base-size bulbs, incandescent or LED. This fixture requires a canopy and chain which is not included. Three feet of wire at the top can be adjusted to the preferred height.

The shades are intact without chips or cracks. The deep veining, and natural designs of its mineral composition, may be confused for a crack. Hand-carved, no one shade is the same. The chrome-plated brass has some slight scratches and areas of wear.
