Circa 1915 Silver Basket by Frank Whiting, North Attleboro, Massachusetts. The basket handle has an undulating rolled edge with reeded borders interspersed between small, chased medallions, neoclassical shields, and cornucopia motifs to the interior basket. The bowl is monogrammed with an M or W in the interior and raised on an ovoid base. An elegant piece to add to any table. Be creative and fill the basket with flowers, candy, soaps, pencils, just about anything, or nothing at all, and just enjoy the intricacies and exceptional design all by itself. The height is 12.5 in. when the handle is not bent and 7 in. tall when the handle is fully bent.
