Circa 1820 English Georgian Style Mahogany and Satinwood Casket. The term ‘caskets’ refers to a box used for storing precious small items, like jewelry. This lovely casket has an oval inlay made from satinwood and is lined with a deep turquoise color. There is a small skinny slide-out drawer below. To open this drawer, you will need to take the long pin out. This would be a perfect small gift for a jewelry lover or collector of small precious items.

| Condition | Repairs were made to the top. The interior has scrapes and nicks. The wood on the lid slightly warped in one spot and missing some tiny pieces on the other side. There is a visible crack on the bottom of the compartment. We have added removable self-stick small felt pads to protect your hard surfaces from scratches.
