19th Century French Renaissance Style Carved Gilt Wood Chandelier

This chandelier has been rewired to meet US electrical standards and takes 8 base light bulbs. Each light bulb can use up to a max of 60 watts. We recommend using LED lights because they help preserve antique fixtures longer. Antique fixtures must be adapted to modern homes. This fixture requires a canopy and chain that are not included in order to hang from the ceiling. Please check with your electrician or contractor for additional specifics on installing antique lighting. This chandelier was carved by hand so there might be some slight imperfections making this fixture unique and one of a kind. The gold leaf is fading in some areas due to its antiqueness. There is a rich patina the wood. All the moldings are complete and all pieces are original to this chandelier. There are some old repairs that were made in the arms of the chandelier. Overall in good condition.
