Condition

The fastener has a 'C' clasp. The pin is bent near the hinge, but sturdy and fastens well. The shell cameo is set in a deep bezel setting and is secure. The shell has some hair line crazing though out. There are some scratches on the front and back of shell and on the 14K rolled gold bezel frame due to the antiqueness, as well areas with patina. There is a spot under the 'C' clasp, on the twisted trim, where there is evidence it has been soldered to the bezel but is microscopic. Overall good condition for its age. We will be happy to provide more closeup images upon request.
