Description
Circa 1950 American silver on copper footed serving tray with celluloid handles by the Crown Silver Company Inc. of Brookline, MA active c. 1935/1950. The intricate embossed and etched motifs of swirling acanthus leaves is sophisticated and well done. This elegant ornate large round serving tray with feet has endless uses: to serve drinks and food, to use as an ottoman tray, to use as a centerpiece base, to use as a home decor accent, to use as a breakfast in bed tray, or as a unique gift idea. Some things in life are best served on a silver platter.
