Description
A chic and collectible set of two “La Grande Dame” champagne coolers, designed by acclaimed French designer Christophe Pillet for Veuve Clicquot. Together, they embody the perfect balance between contemporary design and timeless luxury.
Renowned for his refined minimalism and collaborations with leading European design houses, Pillet reinterpreted the Maison’s modern spirit through a sculptural vision defined by sleek, flowing lines and Veuve Clicquot’s unmistakable signature orange. Conceived as a paired design, the two coolers mirror and complement one another in form—creating an elegant sculptural dialogue when displayed side by side. Each functions both as a striking champagne cooler and as an objet d’art within a sophisticated interior setting.
Crafted in high‑gloss black lacquered metal with a vivid orange enamel‑like interior, the pair reflects Pillet’s hallmark sense of proportion and understated refinement. The coolers are signed and marked, featuring embossed “Veuve Clicquot – La Grande Dame” lettering and Pillet’s engraved signature along the base rim.
Produced in limited quantities from 2004 to 2006, these coolers were never commercially released, instead being distributed for Veuve Clicquot’s special events and collector presentations. Complete pairs are now scarce, admired by both design connoisseurs and champagne enthusiasts for their sculptural form, craftsmanship, and historical significance within the brand’s legacy.
Offered here as the complete original set of two complementary La Grande Dame coolers designed by Christophe Pillet for Veuve Clicquot.
