Condition

All parts are original to the chairs including the caning, lacquer and gold leaf. The caning is in good condition and is whole. None of the caning is broken, loose or sagging, however, there are small and barely noticeable areas of chipped lacquer on the caned seats that are covered by the seat cushions. The seat cushions are in good condition also. The seat cushions help preserve the caning so it does not start to sag or break. The legs and feet of the chairs are all in good condition and sturdy. The chairs are also sturdy for normal use. Light scratches and nick on the wood due to the antiqueness. Some wear on the gold leaf from age. Overall, all the chairs are in good condition. We can provide additional close ups images if desired.
