Description

This exquisite Murano chandelier has fourteen hand-blown leaves that are paved with crushed crystal on the inside to give them a beautiful shimmer when lit. The leaves have a strip of amber color forming the stems. Vistosi is a respected designer in the Murano community. His descendants continue to contribute fine works of lighting to date. This fixture would work great with any design project as the leaf motif is timeless, versatile, and ubiquitous. The fixture provides enough illumination to work as general or accent lighting. Weighs approximately 30 lbs. H= 29 in., W= 22 in. D= 22 in.

This Italian Vistosi Murano chandelier uses eight base light bulbs each. Each light bulb can use up to a maximum of sixty watts. We recommend using LED lights because it helps preserve the antique fixtures better and longer. Images were taken using both LEDs and incandescent lights to show how differently the fixture can look depending on what type of light bulbs are used.

Antique chandeliers might have to be adapted to modern houses. This chandelier can be mounted to the ceiling. Please check with your electrician or contractor for additional specifics on installing antique chandeliers. All sockets work and the chandelier has been rewired to meet US electrical standards. All the Murano glass leaves are intact, and none are cracked or broken. There are no missing Murano glass leaves either. There are small light scratches and wear throughout the metal which is normal for its age. Will be happy to provide more close-up images upon request. Requires special packing and handling.
