Description

This Circa 1930 French cut crystal and brass flush mount has turned a lot of heads. The hand-cut crystal bowl is striped with alternating bands of laurels and cross reeded squares coming together terminating with a crystal ball finial. However, the cracks discourage those that are bothered by them. But, if you appreciate quality materials and craftsmanship without minding the imperfections, then the sparkle and elegance of this fixture will surely delight.

Condition

Has been rewired to meet US electrical standards and takes two base bulbs. The crystal has some large cracks that have been glued but is intact. The cracks are noticeable but not unsightly since the bowl has lots of etching. Please see images of the fixture lit. The crystal was possibly broken from forcefully over tightening the bottom when changing the light bulbs. If possible, be mindful of not over tightening to avoid causing more damage. We will be happy to provide additional closeup images upon request.
