There are a few nicks and scratches on the wood, which can barely be noticeable. There is also the unique patina on the wood attained with age. Still has its original varnish. The glass is all original to the piece and are all intact and not broken. There are old glue stains on the bottom of each of the shelves. The marble top is complete and in one piece, however, there are a few small chips on the sides. The feet of the stand are intact, and they have wood that was added on the sides as reinforcement to the stand over the years. The reverse glass painting is in good condition. The bottom 3 shelves are missing their latches, only the first shelf has both latches that are in working condition. The display stand is sturdy and in good working condition. Each shelf can only hold no more than 30 lbs. per shelf. It is designed to be placed against a wall rather than free standing. The display's marble top can come off. The stand can be taken in two pieces (marble top and the stand) or together in one piece.
