Circa 1880 Crawford’s Delightful Biscuits mahogany floor standing store display cabinet. Has a white marble top with veining and reverse painted advertising on its original glass. The three front glass cabinets have brass hardware. Manufactured by Taylor Bros., Sheffield, England.
At the time, Crawford’s was the fourth largest biscuit manufacturer in Britain, and the longest established. This display was designed specifically for advertising the much-loved packaged biscuits of the time. The brand continues today as the economy sister brand to McVitie’s.
It is perfect for displaying desserts and baked goods. In the kitchen, it can be used to store spices, pastas, and other food stables. You can also be creative and have fun repurposing it to display your favorite collection.
