Mid 1700s Walnut Linen Press
A beautiful mahogany Dutch linen press. Traditionally, linen presses were designed to be storage cabinets for storing sheets, table-napkins, clothing, and other textiles. They were often designed to be prominent furniture in a bedroom. This particular one has ornate bronze decorations and carved scrolling acanthus leaves. Three large pull out drawers and a ready to use piece of history. Some modifications to inside painted back panel.
