Circa Late 19th Century Pair of Continental Apothecary Jar Table Lamps. Each jar is hand painted with the profile of Hippocrates and the Rod of Achlespius with a mix of colors that creates an aesthetically pleasing contrast along the surface. One jar is labeled Ung-De Litarg and the second is labeled Polvos de Alcan. These old and empty medicine jars are now mounted as lamps. Weighs approximately 5 lbs each.

Condition: Lamps have been electrified to meet US electrical standards. No chips or cracks on the porcelain. Some wear from age. Shades are in good condition but may be replaced to your liking
